In most respects, elves are identical to humans with regards to reproductive function and maturation. Aside from a lower success rate of conception in elf/human and elf/dwarf couples, the only reproductive quirk that is unique to the elvhen people would be that of a sort of transformative hormonal cycle – most commonly referred to as the Daris, from the elvhen da’bellanaris – the “little eternity.”

So it was because of Minrathous. This was a point in time where Rimon was giving Dorian exactly what he wanted: a sincere answer as to why he was shying away from Dorian’s attention. And it was serious, and it deserved a serious response on Dorian’s part. But the frankness and the nature of the accusation meant that Dorian started laughing. Hard. Rimon’s ears went a flaming shade of red.
