Summary
Zoro would not describe him and the cook as close.
They're diametrically opposed; Zoro is steady and grounded, Sanji is tempestuous. Zoro is a fighter by nature, Sanji is a lover to the very core of his obnoxious being. Zoro has fangs that push against his lips, Sanji has a curled up, cotton-ball tail that pokes out of his suit trousers. Zoro cares very little for the so-called differences between predator and prey types, Sanji seems to have a chip on his shoulder about the whole thing.
Unfortunately, at the moment, Zoro finds himself about as close to the lovecook as he could possibly get.

“I’m not sleeping in the dirt,” Aerion snaps, parking the car behind his dad’s, “Just try to get through the weekend, okay? I swear, we’ll have fun.” He presses a kiss to the side of Duncan’s jaw and unclicks his seatbelt before stepping out. He misses the glare that Maekar sends Duncan’s way through the windshield, like daggers in his skull.
“Yeah.” Duncan sighs, “Fun.”

A marriage, a profitable at that, had always been on the books for him so it was no true surprise. He was no ridiculous romantic or anything of the sort, he was oddly neutral on the marriage matter, borderline indifferent, quite honestly. So when Roland approached him, surely with the same intent his father had in mind, Aerion took it. It was a pragmatic choice, because while he had no qualms about marriage, he did not fancy having his father handpick a husband for him. It would go poorly. The next step on their mating was approached as mechanical and business-like as the nuptials. They needed a heir.
Or Aerion is in arranged marriage, when they decide to have a baby they do it through an IVF procedure but the samples get changed Aerion ends up pregnant with another man's baby.
