    “Don’t even try to pretend.” he whispers, in a way that makes her body clench, heady and wanting as she’d tumbled full on into his voice, into his influence, as he curves his hand around the back of her thighs and nudges her close - so close that she could barely breathe - her heat clenching fitfully around nothing in her most fervent want for him -

    “I know full well the way your mind works, and the delights you’d had enough with my hand back then. I would not judge you if you’d imagined me taking you this way as well, just once.”
