The tears still didn't fall, but he did. On his knees beside Kacchan. He reaches for the blonde's still shoulders, swaying.
"Kacchan!" Izuku says the name imploringly, and he can't care when he hears Best Jeanist urgently calling for him, because the only voice he wanted to hear at that moment was Katsuki's, and he wasn't responding "Kacchan, get up! You can't lose like that, you…"
His voice catches in his throat, the cry he tries to swallow drowns out his words.

Is this a dream? Is this some wicked plan by Gaea? The last thing he remembers is Tartarus and Kronos, how is he here?
"Nico, are you okay?" Bianca asks, furrowing her brows. They can hear the door of the hallway being opened, as a voice Nico hadn't heard in years calls for them. Nico's fists clench. Dream or not, he won't let them take everything away this time. He will fix this, he will fix everything.
Or in which the War with Gaea ends baddly, the Seven die, and Nico is sent back in time (maybe a little bit too early) after making a deal with a Titan. Well shit.
