"Oh," Mike's brows shot up.
He knew a hundred different ways he could have answered Will's question; a hundred different ways he probably should have. But Mike's mouth loved to move before his brain could catch up and now was no different.
"I can show you, if you want," he suggested.
It's the summer after their high school graduation and Will still hasn't had his first kiss yet. Mike offers to teach him all the different kinds of kisses there are. You know, like a best friend would.

He tried very hard not to lean away when Mike leaned in. Why were they sitting like this, completely pressed together from shoulder to knee? Their entire sides were touching, and the strange contact was enough to sufficiently distract him. Especially when Mike laid a hand on his thigh, what the fuck.
“Hey," Mike whispered, lips almost brushing his ear. “You okay? You seem… not yourself." Yeah, no shit! Because he was Lucas, not Will!

Lucas and Will get bodyswapped. Mike, not knowing that, decides to confront Will about the painting. Confusion ensues. -

“So if you don’t really, uh… think about what kind of girls you’re into,” Will starts, words slow and a little slurred together, “what do you, you know…”
Mike leans back further into the couch, head tipping against the cushions. Will watches as his curls fall away from his neck, exposing the line of his throat.
“What do I what?” Mike asks.
His words are just as clumsy, and the thought brings a pleasant warmth to Will’s stomach.
“What do you think about,” Will tries again, gesturing vaguely with his hands—hands that don’t feel entirely connected to the rest of him. “When you…” He trails off, face heating. He makes another gesture with his hands, one that he sees guys do in the hallways to gross each other out.
Mike’s mouth curves upward, slow and amused. His eyes are heavy-lidded, glassy in the lamplight.
“Jerk off?” he supplies, almost playfully.

In order to save everyone and untether the Upside Down from our world permanently, El had to use her powers to erase any memory of Will from existence.
