    He had wanted to have a shared drink of whiskey after a successful ad shoot, but, just after picking up the bottle the phone had rang. He'd placed the bottle on the table beside his glass with a clink and picked up the phone with a desperate relaxedness, spinning the wire in his finger.

    He'd been smiling. It was probably audible to whatever was on the other end of the line.
    He wasn't smiling when the phone call was over.

    He'd been yelling, calling the phone a coward and a liar and trying to swear, but all that escaped his mouth was bit-crushed shrieks because this demon had somehow changed him to his very being and, holy fuck he was under this thing's complete control.

    The phone had rang, like it always did, but Spamton was not prepared for what the entity sneered into his ear this time.
