The other boy sighed in relief and looked back down. His shoes must have been the most interesting thing in the world, judging by all the attention he was giving them.“You should be mad. I’m sorry.”

“I’m so tired of being angry all the time.” He said softly, as if revealing a big secret. “I just wish…I could understand why.”—
