Jesse finds himself in yet another mess. Like the past few weeks haven’t already been screwed up enough. – Shit’s been piling up for weeks. And now they’ve gotten dragged into that stupid war between Gus and the cartel, because of course they have.
He knew this was a bad idea from the start. Going south of the border without any real idea what was waiting for them… Yeah. Great. Fucking suicide mission.
And out of everyone, he should’ve stayed the hell out of it. He shouldn’t even be here right now. He should be in a hospital.
His shoulder is way worse than he ever thought it’d get. He should’ve taken care of it. Gotten the surgery, like the doctor told him. But no. Of course he let himself get pulled along by the man. Again. Instead of trusting his own better judgment.
Now he can barely take the pain anymore. And to top it all off, they got picked up and locked away by the cartel.
Not just anyone.
Fucking Lalo Salamanca!But, well... the man might turn out to be quite different than Jesse expected. In some ways, at least. And whatever this is … this encounter … it might change things. Maybe everything.
