Summary
Uzi is a loner and an outcast, imposed by herself and all her peers. Everyone already had it out for her, but after her mom passed away she became even more moody and gloomy and, well.. that was just one more reason.
N is a bleeding heart with a penchant for self-destruction. He wants nothing more than to make friends, but he's found most of the folks who want to talk to the rich kid have ulterior motives.
Everything was pointing towards the polar opposites simply being too different, their personalities too clashing - however, fate would have it otherwise, and maybe that's all they need. A chance to make a friend. A chance to trust again./
I turned the robots into humans and gave them hella anxiety lol :D

OR: After everything has finally settled down, some of Uzi's classmates still have grudges against her, and their words spark up some nasty self-loathing Uzi had been trying to ignore. Meanwhile, N has to deal with a virus- or at least, that's what he thinks it is. Why else would he keep having these weird flashbacks of the mansion and the solver and being torn apart? Definitely just sick. He's not repressing anything. Nuh uh.

Nathan learned very early that the Elliot house had rules.
Not spoken ones. Nobody ever sat him down at the marble kitchen island and explained them. They just existed in the way the hallways stayed quiet after ten, in the way the staff looked down instead of directly at him, in the way James Elliot’s eyes would slide past him like he was part of the wallpaper.
Some rules were simple.
Don’t touch Tessa’s things.
Don’t ask where your room used to be before they turned it into storage.
