Twenty-five-year-old Pro Hero Deku has finally settled into a routine.
He teaches. He patrols. He files more paperwork than any sane person should. Most importantly, he fights alongside Dynamight once again, wearing the support suit Katsuki Bakugo spent years helping create.
Life is good.
Or at least, it should be.
Because lately, something feels wrong.
A few sleepless nights turn into weeks. Irritability becomes restlessness. Familiar routines stop feeling familiar. And for reasons Izuku can't explain, every strange symptom seems to circle back to one person.
Katsuki Bakugo.
As old instincts awaken and new ones begin to surface, Izuku finds himself caught between who he's always been and something he doesn't understand. The closer he gets to the truth, the harder it becomes to ignore the pull drawing him toward the person who's been at his side for nearly twenty years.

Others are measured in things left unsaid.

The doctors at the hospital said everything was fine. The detective told them to just go home and wait for the villain to wake up. And honestly, Izuku wanted nothing more than to believe them. He just wanted to drink his tea, ignore the stupid, heavy aching in his chest from when Kacchan had tackled him out of harm's way, and try not to ruin the fragile friendship they've spent their second year rebuilding. But space and time apparently have other plans. Because Izuku is pretty sure there shouldn't be a flash of violet light in the middle of the Heights Alliance kitchen—and he's definitely sure there shouldn't be multiple versions of his childhood friend staring back at him.

Katsuki blinked. Read the words. Read them again.
“…what the HELL?!?!”
Pops of light flared around him, and Shinso took a wary step back.
“WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCKING HELL?!”
Izuku was making a wheezing noise that sounded vaguely like a tea kettle.
Todoroki frowned as he read the headline over their shoulders, and asked with his usual even inflection, “You had sex while on duty?”
Katsuki fucking exploded.
Life is looking up for Katsuki in the months since Izuku received his hero suit. He’s soared back up the ranks to number five, he’s got a new car, a new apartment, and he’s chasing Deku’s heels once again. Even with the nerd turning down his agency invitation, working together is everything he’d dreamed over the last eight years.
But a new threat is growing stronger in the darkness of society, and when a gossip website accuses Deku and Dynamight of hooking up at the scene of an incident, they have to fight for both their reputations and the lives of the people they’ve sworn to protect.
