Summary

Rin responds to that. "...I don't need any of that lukewarm stuff," he then says, clicking his tongue after, though it almost sounds like it were under his breath, if that's even possible. "It's just for the summer, and all that really matters to me is having a soccer ball and land. The rest is for tepid losers."
"Ya' play soccer?" Nanase parrots his words with a gasp and wide-eyed stare, that then starts to crease with his ever growing grin. "I used ta' play, too! Wasn't no good at it, though, but I'm yer best bet if you needed somebody in town to practice with!"
"I don't need somebody to practice with," Rin immediately says back. "The best in the world doesn't need practice."
"Then maybe just a somebody?" Nanase says back just as quickly. "I don't know if yer grandparents mentioned it, but I'm sixteen, too, and I know it can be scary being in a whole new town without knowing anyone yer age. Ya' don't have to if ya' really don't want to, but I just wanted you to know, ya' can hang out with me."
Rin glances down Nanase again. "...Heard," is all he says, before he turns away and leaves.

Michael Kaiser is already in a bad mood, paraded around like a trophy by his coach at a fancy banquet meant to showcase his legacy—not his life. But things go from bad to worse when he catches sight of his Alexis Ness smiling at another man.
Possessive, jealous, and completely unhinged, Kaiser decides to remind Ness exactly who he belongs to—with his hands, his mouth, and everything in between. But beneath the roughness and punishment is something messier, something Ness is too scared to name and Kaiser would rather bite his tongue off than admit.
