Once a time before humans, a anicent and hellish race once ruled these lands and seas with great prestige, bloodsuckers of the night, they go by many names, vampires, beasts, predators, ghouls, devils and demons.
But despite their evil nature, they were once beautiful, strong leaders of humans earliest empires, devine artists and poets, why did they to be banished to utter darkness? killed off like cruel cattle
Vampire hunters emerged, speaking of holy respect with a bloody sword as they slowly killed off the ancient species, but one vampire no could kill.
The prince of darkness and delight himself, the prince of vampires, the dark ruler.
As no one could kill him, no matter what they did.
It was after a tragic night where the Young Kim Hongjoong would soon meet the infamous prince and swore to oath to end vampires for all eternity.

Inside the car, Hongjoong had curled into the back seat again, trying to minimize surface contact with the sweltering upholstery. He wasn’t sure if he’d dozed or passed out. Everything felt blurred. His head lolled to one side.
He thought about lyrics.
He thought about lemon drops — sharp and sweet and fake-colored. Like a mask.
He thought about how this scene in the MV was supposed to be symbolic.
He wasn’t actually supposed to be locked in.

It honestly hadn't been as bad it as it could've been. He already has men taking care of his charges, coming up with alibis for all the other things he was investigated for (if they would get even the slightest idea of what he had done during his years, he would never walk from this place), but as things are, he knows he’ll be a free man in a couple of months, tops.
With the icy look Seokjin’s giving him from the door, though, he isn’t suddenly sure whether his biggest problem right now is the police or the corrupted justice system at all.
