Summary
Mingi doesn’t think of himself as a low-ranked alpha, he knows he is one.
On top of that, he’s in love with another alpha and, even worse, that alpha happens to be his best friend, Jeong Yunho.
He knows he’s doomed to wait for the day Yunho decides to mate with an omega and leave him behind with a broken heart.
So, sad and drunk after another party where it’s always the same, him standing off to the side, watching Yunho just being Yunho, he collapses on a dark street and thinks he can’t possibly sink any lower in life than he feels right then.
That’s when Jung Wooyoung shows up, a chaotic, loud, and friendly omega who takes care of him. Mingi thinks he’s the closest thing to an angel some deity might ever send his way, even though Wooyoung is actually the closest thing to a demon he’ll ever meet.
Wooyoung, sad and abandoned by people he once thought were his friends, betrayed because he’s naïve and likes to trust people, finds that huge alpha sobbing and his little heart just can’t bear to leave him there alone.
From then on, everything goes downhill. Or, well, uphill, but no one can take the drama out of Mingi.

And he isn’t angry, which is the worst part. Just disappointed. Yunho would’ve given her proper closure if that was what she wanted, he believes he deserves something better than being a backup plan or being made to look like an idiot.
Under other circumstances, Yunho could appreciate how adorable Mingi looks, so tall and broad, shrinking under guilt that doesn’t belong to him.
Or
Jeong Yunho’s five-year relationship comes to an end when he finds out about and confronts his ex-girlfriend’s infidelities, believing he’s doing her current conquest, Song Mingi, a favor by warning him about the kind of girl she is.
But now Mingi is everywhere he turns, and Yunho has to decide whether getting involved with his ex’s former fling is a good idea.
