Summary
LT. König operated on strict protocols and perfect discipline. Sgt. Horangi performed his duties with efficiency and visible disdain. In Iraq's punishing heat, where guns jammed and patience ran thin, their conflict became another operational hazard to manage.
Based on the mini-series and book “Generation Kill” by Evan Wright.

Summary
König, suddenly and urgently called home, is then tasked with not only the daunting duty of repairing the dilapidated church in his hometown but to also set aside his career and become a priest, per his mother's request. Yet when he arrives, superstition surrounds the building and everyone whispers about how the sacred building is somehow haunted.
The soldier is quick to dismiss them all as nothing but rumors, superstitions, and other bedtime stories to make children behave. That is until he can’t explain the claw marks in the wood or the strange sounds filling the building's walls.

Summary
She holds out a polaroid, an old, worn polaroid. A polaroid he would keep stashed in his tac vest. A polaroid he'd keep beside his bedside. A polaroid he promised himself to burn after the failed extraction. Laura clears her throat, unaware of König's turmoil. “Who is this?”
Horangi. Kim Hong-Jin. A lieutenant. My lieutenant. A friend. My best friend. My other fucking half.
König runs a hand through his hair, laughing to himself. He shrugs, brushing off the statement. “Just an old squadmate, ja?” He smiles, taking the polaroid into his scarred, callused hand. The sight of it alone makes him want to break down, cry into his own hands and curl over like the pathetic excuse of a man he is.
Or,
Would your husband still love you if his military situationship was right beside him in a tactical bikini
