Day 3: Shop AU (but not like what you think)
"Okay, I gotta ask," George heard the person next to him talk. "Are you good there, buddy?"
George turned to him silently, only pointing a finger to himself, and raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, you," The man said.
"Me?" George muttered, staring back at the man next to him. "Yeah, I'm good," He said slowly.
"Are you sure?" He asked. "Because I like, saw you about 20 minutes ago before I went and got all my shit, and now I'm going to the register and you're still in the paint aisle staring at cans of paint. This isn't what they mean by watching paint dry, you're gonna be here forever," He joked.
In which George is tasked to help Dream and Karl finish up preparing a nursery for their new baby, but George realizes that he's a bit out of depth with this whole house work thing. Thankfully, the handsome stranger from Home Depot is willing to help.
