Link makes the mistake of testing one of his many theories on the avatar Sidon provided him with.
With the results of said test giving him more than he bargained for, Link has to grapple with both Sidon’s feelings and his own- all while Sidon is halfway across Hyrule, completely unaware of the things that Link has done with his avatar, yet all too aware that his vow has suddenly been dismissed.

“Okay, but—” Sokka’s hand found the back of his own neck. “What if you did, though? What if you wanted someone who actually—” He stopped. Started over. “What if you wanted someone who loved you?”
Zuko’s expression shifted into something that looked like the beginning of an argument. “I am so tired of you acting like nobody I ever—”
“It’s me.” The words came out quieter than Sokka intended, which somehow made them worse. “I’m in love with you. That’s what this is. That’s what I’m saying.”

Summary
Sokka is the creator and sole host of a true crime podcast, Unsolvable with Sokka. Over the past several years, he has built a decent following with his witty and incisive commentary, and actually has a few solved cases under his belt. He can't turn down a good story, which is why he reads and vets every email he receives for ideas.
Zuko has been a fan of Unsolvable with Sokka since its inception, but he never had the courage to send the email that would change his life. That is, until the 15th anniversary of his mother's disappearance arrives. His inhibitions lowered from depression and Grey Goose, Zuko sends the request to Unsolvable. He never thought Sokka would actually read it, much less respond.
The two of them embark on a sometimes dangerous, sometimes sexy, always intruiging journey to discover the truth. Along the way, everything they believed will be called into question.

Summary
Freezing cold fingers find their way under his shirt to flatten against his stomach, the muscle sinking away from the assault as he gasps at Sokka's wiggling, "Stop that!"
"Hmmmno."
After a bit of tussling, Zuko gives up, hiking his knees to his chest and letting Sokka warm himself against him, "Why're you like this?"
Sokka thinks for a moment, Zuko's sure that he's coming up with some joke but the answer he gets instead is surprisingly honest, vulnerable, even, "Because it's you," he buries his nose in Zuko's hair, inhaling deeply again and humming cheerily from behind, "Because it's us."
'So unfair.' the thought flashes by Zuko again, mind adamant to harp on and on about how cruelly casual Sokka's being with his affections right now.
OR:
Zuko tries to hide his feelings for Sokka, but it gets harder and harder as his best friend keeps coming over drunk.
