It was supposed to be a cheap punk stunt for the NME—just a bit of the old rock-and-roll ultraviolence to spike their streaming numbers. But when Murdoc drags 2D off the stage and locks the dressing room door, the post-show adrenaline twists into something far more volatile. Lost in the static of a 2001 arena high, the line between routine violence and raw hunger completely snaps.

Summary
"The sun and the moon are love and fear: one rises as the other falls."
Murdoc is inexplicably arrested one night and 2D couldn't be happier to see him finally see some repercussion for his actions. Once it's known that Murdoc will be incarcerated for five years for his crimes, 2D is granted a wonderful chance to heal from Murdoc's influence and become his own person. However, it comes to 2D's attention that he may have been more reliant on Murdoc than he initially thought.

Summary
Everything is intimate when it's new, until words become worn and the body leaves indents for hands like memory foam, marked even in absence. Once 2D shares a drunken night with Murdoc, they spiral into sharing far more than intended, all under the guise of casual sex. It's ironic to call it no strings attached when 2D's being played like a puppet.
