The nurse’s tone softens. “Before you see him, there’s something you should know.” She glances at the door, then back at Suguru. “He sustained a head injury. He’s awake, but… he doesn’t seem to remember much.”
The world fades out around Suguru.
“I’m sorry,” Suguru manages after a beat. “What?”
After Satoru loses his memories in an accident, Suguru can’t bring himself to remind him that they’ve broken up.

Satoru likes Suguru’s hair any time, really, but there’s one style Suguru pulls out when it’s super fucking hot that makes him go a little insane. All it takes is a cute scrunchie wrapped around his wrist as he gathers his hair into his hands, carefully smoothing out the bumps before looping it through the scrunchie and pulling tight, hair tumbling down his back and over his shoulders in a soft black wave, bouncing when he walks or laughs, and Satoru turns into a feral animal.
It’s the high ponytail. The handlebar. The holy grail.
