Summary
Sable Jones is finally returning to their original home after their hero's journey in other worlds, which took 5-7 years (approximately, as time works differently across different worlds). The key to their front door is on a golden chain around their neck, which they rip dramatically off their neck to symbolise the end of their adventure and return to normalcy, although it was a necessity in their travels to not lose their key and the symbol of their only way to get back into their true home.
So this scene is the opening one for them to reunite with those left behind and acclimate to home. But eventually they realise that home is darker and worse than they remember, and the perfect family they missed much wasn't as whole and loving as they remember. Eventually they get so overwhelmed and depressed by the “real world” and wishes the goddess who returned them “home” to take them back to the team and found family they forged back in the other worlds and before they go they make sure to pack this time all the real essentials and their little brother, Aros who needs an escape from this corrupt and hurtful world.- Language:

“Well, sire,” he said “That is the common consensus among… the chatter.”
“The chatter,” Arthur repeated and his mind flashed to all the kindness Merlin had received from other nobles. Dear God.
Or
Merlin has all of Camelot (and neighboring kingdoms) wrapped around his finger and Arthur is beginning to resign himself to the fact his servant somehow has more power than he does.
