Summary
Bringing a high profile celebrity to an active war zone so he could play tourist was stupid. Stupid on a level that Lance Corporal Cynthia Creed would have found comical if she and her unit hadn't been the ones chosen to be responsible for him.
Thankfully the assignment appeared to be a short one. Escort him to the site for the weapons demo and escort him back. Easy. Hopefully the worst of the day should be the boring ride with the convoy, right?

Summary
The creatures of myth walk among humans, magic is more prevalent then electricity and someone has sent Sherlock Holmes a box of papers with no return address and no explanation.
This is Sherlock Holmes with an urban fantasy twist. It will be taking place in a canon appropriate timeline (Victorian) but I can't promise perfect dialect or history for the world. The plots will be original as will some of the characters.
I'm not going to go too deep into the research as this is something that I work on when I start to get burned out on my actual writing and I don't want to overcomplicate it. Might not perfectly align with the timeline but I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it. Updates may be a bit irregular due to life but my goal is no later then every other week. No AI was used for the purpose of writing anything within this Fic.
We'll be starting in the summer following "A study in scarlet"
