Summary
Lieutenant Pete Wentz is living the dream. In the competitive world of Naval aviation, he’s one of the best pilots in the country, flying dangerous combat missions in his beautiful fighter jet, where every day is a new challenge. And in the backseat of his F-18 is LTJG Patrick Stump – a little annoying and bossy for a weapons officer, sure, but good at what he does, and when they’re in the sky they’re so in sync they can practically hear each other’s thoughts.
But Pete and Patrick have been keeping a secret from the Navy, one that could end their whole careers. Pete jolts upright so fast and hard that he nearly falls over, all of his natural lupine grace abandoning him completely at the least opportune time. His hackles go up immediately, his lips drawing back on a snarl more from surprise than anything else, but then he freezes, tail straight out behind him and ears pricked and alert, because scowling at him across a few spare feet of forest floor is the stranger. Of course—who else? It's not like these woods are densely populated.
Still, he hates, hates, hates that he was so surprised—so caught up in his own head that he apparently lost all command of his senses and let a bunny sneak up on him. Isn't it supposed to be very much the other way around?
"Um," he says, intelligently, watching ravenously as the stranger's nose twitches and one of his ears flicks slightly. It's now that Pete notices he's wearing a dagger on his hip; he's got one hand on it, clearly ready to draw if he needs to—though he hasn't yet, perhaps out of a thin veneer of politeness. Pete may be falling in love. "Well, I'm—I was just—passing through?"

i left my house at 11:57pm 2 days ago (factcheck it i dont care, take me out if youre looking for something to do big man in your big suit). met a boy at the gas station blown out by the flurorescents. he perplexed me. i saw me in his eyes for a second but i think it was a (trick) of the light. it was the same boy that ive seen cry on camera cuz his life didnt turn out right. youve all probably seen him before, hes a rock star. hes robert de nero. hes natalie portman. but hes mine. i wont tell you which one he is cuz i dont think any of you would get it like i do. but i saw him in real life and he called me a perv cuz i called him by name. only pervs know his name. how crazy is it that the only people who know your name need to be locked up? the only people who love him and know him and his voice and his face and his guts are people like me (us). makes me feel a little bit worse, but everything does. ive been drinking a lot of two day old drinks lately. theyre supposed to be cold but they never are.
have any of you met a boy in real life that wasnt real until you saw him in the flesh?
