“Fuck duty,” Jayce growled.
When King Viktor agrees to consider marriage and propagate the line of succession, Jayce, his Kingsguard and sworn shield, does not take kindly to the news.

"As much as I have attempted to dissuade you of those pesky thoughts that all problems lead back to you," he jabs at Jayce's chest gently, softening when Jayce leans into the contact despite its chastising nature, "This is… a personal issue."
