    Summary

    Part 1: Pulling Teeth. Fushiguro Megumi tweaking out over Itadori Yuuji showing alarming signs of depression. A parallel but simultaneous antithesis to whatever the hell happened with Gojo and Geto.

    Part 2: I beat a dead horse in a game of chess. Megumi attempts to tame Mahoraga for the sake of saving Yuuji, and everything seems to come to a head.

    As if just thinking his name is enough to summon him, Megumi saunters into the kitchen, empty tea mug in hand. He makes his way towards the kettle, wordlessly pressing a kiss into Yuuji’s forehead on his way there. The gesture is inherently comforting. He didn’t realize how much he missed it until he’d gone almost a full day without Megumi kissing him.

    But, wait. That’s what this has become, but that’s not how this started.

    “Oh, I’m not sick anymore Fushiguro,” Yuuji assures, “I don’t have a fever.”

    Megumi doesn’t even look at him. Just continues refilling the kettle before offering a casual, “I know,” over his shoulder.

    Yuuji’s face reddens instantly at his bluntness.

    What could that mean?

     

    OR what started as megumi kissing yuuji's forehead to check his fever while sick turns into a thing they just sort of do all the time now. yuuji is determined to get to the bottom of it.
