Summary
Seven years ago when the war ended Hermione knew there would be a million things that needed reshaping in the wizarding world. She knew the ministry would need a complete overhaul to eradicate the corruption, bigotry and prejudice along with rounding up any followers of Voldemort that escaped after the war. She knew Hogwarts would need to be completely rebuilt. She knew that everyone would need time to heal and come to terms with all the trauma they went through. What she didn’t realize at the time was that her personal war would still rage on this many years after that final spell was cast.
What happens after the vows are said? What happens when the person you supposedly knew better than anyone else turns out to be a completely different person? And what happens when you realize what he is actually capable of doing?

Summary
After the wizarding war ends, nothing is the same. To ground herself and remain sane, Hermoine does what she does best- works hard. As one of the youngest accomplished Healers at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries with a muggle Bachelor of Science degree, Masters in Neurological Science and a PhD in development, she has excelled exceptionally in keeping herself busy. But in keeping herself busy she wore herself thin- so her PhD advisor sends her away from her work for a summer so she can relax and "figure herself out". Hermoine finds herself being unable to turn to anyone but her best friend Ginny, who insists on her staying with at her home for a stint. In a turn of events, Ginny's sister-in-law Fleur visits as well, and insists on introducing Hermoine to finer society so she can gain funding for her philanthropic adventures at St. Mungo's and perhaps find someone she fancies. Hermoine has no idea that what she's really in for, and is going to be thrown into a mischievous, extravagant, and scandalously juicy summer in the French countryside. And when she sees Draco, who seems to have befallen a similar fate to herself, all her guards she put up after the war may just come tumbling down.

Daiyōkai typically viewed their beasts as an inner-voice, a sort of conscience that was a mere extension of themselves. To Sesshōmaru, though, his beast was a separate entity. Two minds housed within the same body, dominance dictated by their form but nevertheless, both minds always active, always present, equally vocal and opinionated.
The form only changed which mind was able to make the final decision, but that had never been an issue. Their final decision had never been locked in a stalemate, both minds always finding compromise or agreement. Nine centuries it remained that way. It took less than half of a decade for it all to fall apart.
Sesshōmaru's beast wanted the miko. When he watched her fall into the meido after Naraku's death, the daiyōkai's resistance to go after her would result in a power struggle for dominance over their body... one which Sesshōmaru would lose.☆。*。☆。
