Summary
Remus Lupin came up with a plan to finally kiss Sirius after years of wanting to do it and backing out at the last minute every single time, but he wasn't going to be the one to suggest that the Seventh Year Gryffindors play Spin the Bottle. He's always been good at leading people to the ideas he wants them to come to without ever outright telling them anything. And Mary? Well, Mary was the easy one. She also really wants to kiss Sirius, and Remus knows it. Getting her to come up with the idea was really too easy. Getting Sirius to actually play it is a lot harder. Hence the pot and the booze.
But Remus isn't sure any of it is actually a good idea. Sirius has specifically not kissed anyone despite his lack of options, after all. And what if being a werewolf is a dealbreaker? And when Mary forces the issue and Sirius bolts? Remus is absolutely certain it was all a bad idea. When he goes to apologize, he doesn't get the response he was expecting.
