Weeks pass, Castiel’s hope dwindles, and through it all Dean prays, keeping them connected. His voice is comforting, frustrating, and occasionally annoying, but in his solitude Castiel comes to cherish it. But then one day, without warning, Dean stops praying, and Castiel is forced to confront some uncomfortable truths about his feelings.

While there is much in the journal Dean doesn’t remember, there is much of their story he’s always known. And as he settles into the routine of his new life and relationship with Castiel, it quickly becomes something he doesn’t know how to live without.

But soon Dean and Castiel find out that they are far more bonded than they knew and when an angel/human mated pair is murdered, the case hits a little too close to home.
As the shining stars of the Paranormal Homicide Division, it is up to Dean and Castiel to discover who is responsible and bring them to justice.
