"Wait! I can’t fight you during Pride Month, I’m going to get cancelled and lose my followers."
Hobie looked over his shoulder at Miles, who was already doubled over and hysterically laughing.
"This place is bonkers." Followed by the jingling of pins and chains, in a move so quick it was blurry, and the Keto man was unconscious on the ground.
And that’s how Miles found out he had a chance with Hobie.

Dylan doesn’t know when he started valuing his friends’ criminal records over not getting actually shot in the body with a pump-action, but it was probably some time between fifteen to thirty minutes ago. The former would follow them forever, the latter, not so great a loss. So he doesn’t move.
He doesn't have a death wish (he doesn't!), but some things are more important to him than making it out of this night alive. Mainly, making sure his friends do. So Dylan is more than happy to throw himself into danger if it means the people he cares about get to see sunrise. Maybe if he uses his brain, he'll get to see it too.
