Those words of encouragement ignited something in them, seeing something like that from such a remarkable figure, someone so important that he shouldn't even know them at all—and yet he did, and they worked for him, and he was impressed by them, pleased, even—it struck them right in the heart, Taph tripped over themself to earn that attention again. And so they got faster—and so Doombringer told them "good job" a little more often—and Taph suddenly had something more to think about than just drifting through work every day.

Summary
Everything he'd done in the last year, was for Taph, to prove that this was where they belonged, here, with him, where they were safe. Sometimes he felt like he was the only one who could do it, no one else would treat them well—and he was terrified to leave Taph with anyone who'd hurt them again, like Doombringer had, like all of Robloxia had wanted to do.
They just needed someplace calm to feel like themself again. Builderman swore he could be that place this time.

The theory that Taph once knew Doombringer during or before their time as a vigilante, which comes from the censored name on Taph's wanted poster, who they were implied to have worked with and had "similar motives" to.
This is an AU based on that idea, in which Taph is a freelance demolitionist with big dreams of working for Builderman's now canceled demolition team. 2 years later, they've lost the hope they once had, and a new path is laid out for them when a different admin, MrDoombringer, abruptly hires them to demolish the homes of terminated Robloxians for him.

Summary
ROBLOX has fallen apart without its Admins. The state of the website is in ruins; Glitches run rampant, games and forums have been shut down, the only illusion of stability left lies in the hands of the last Admin, ReeseMcBlox, and the Demolitionists.
ROBLOX is doomed, was the belief among many, including Reese. That is, until the Admins alongside much of the missing suddenly come home.
A long fic for my take on a "what if they escaped the Spectre" AU, chalk full of headcanons and made up lore. Character, Relationship, and Additional Tags will be updated as chapters update.
