Essek is married off to prevent a war to a man he meets at the altar. So far no one knows that he was the Assembly's contact in Rosohna. So far he doesn't know whose case against the Assembly his confession helped. Can he navigate this web of secrets in an unfamiliar land, or will he be caught in it instead?

If a posh researcher was posting requests in a mid level bar in the gallimaufry, they must be scraping the bottom of the barrel for candidates. That was a little worrying. It made him wonder what exactly the job entailed. Caleb had done a variety of jobs over the last few years. He’d chopped wood, brought in harvests, cleaned gutters, even worked in kitchens once or twice, and that wasn’t the worst of it. Not by a long shot.'Caleb, alone in Rosohna, takes a risky job for a mysterious employer.
The second of two prompt fills I began for the same prompt and am taking a stab at completing now, the first being 'The High Tower'.

"Caleb stared at the building. It was… a bit tower-like, he supposed. More of a tall house than anything, its height and spindly nature easily explained as a concession to the cliff face that it was built into. Still, the villagers had said (in whispers and while looking over their shoulders) that there was a wizard living there."
Caleb, still on the run and desperately alone, finds a reclusive wizard who he hopes can give him the training he needs.
The first of two prompt fills I began for the same prompt and never finished. I intend to expand on them here and in 'The Wizard's Assistant'.

"The other way," Caleb repeats, brow creased in confusion.
"With me, inside you," Essek clarifies.
He can see Caleb's eyebrows shoot up towards his hairline before the man schools his expression into something less extreme. "Essek," he says emphatically, "I want that very much."

or, a continuation of "and i know i've kissed you before"— during a vacation to Nicodranas with the Mighty Nein, Essek and Caleb play out Dynasty Courting rituals at the expense of everyone else. So, nothing out of the normal for them, just more scandalous hand touching

No matter what people say, Essek isn’t a god. As far as the proper classification goes, he’s not even a lesser idol. But he is a deity and the powers he possesses make people whisper his name like a prayer and seek his guidance in matters that transcend knowledge of mortal arcanists.
But, in the end, it's always the same: they cower in fear before him as soon as they realise the size of destruction he’s capable of. There’s no reason to believe that Caleb Widogast would be any different.
