Summary
Yoojin's dreams were a monochrome place. White and Black. Snowfall and Void. Warm and cold. Alive and dead. Sinner and Martyr. Those were all the shades needed to paint Yoojin embracing the corpse of his only brother in the coldest recesses of existence.
“This place is more pathetic than I thought.”
Yoojin looked to his left, eyes wide. This place was always soundless in an almost sacred way, but someone else’s mocking voice broke the silence.
(Or: Yoojin deeply regrets absorbing Hyunjae's pre-regression copy who has nothing to do but piss him off every night.)

Summary
Once upon a time, there was a man who wagered against the stars.
But victory was not his.
“Tell me, Han Yoojin-gun,” he says idly, “what do you think it means to be mortal?”
Han Yoojin raises an eyebrow, unimpressed. “Ugh. Why are all you S-Ranks like this? Did the fight knock something loose in your head?”
“Humor me.”
Han Yoojin sighs, tilting his head as if considering. “You’re not a god. You’re human. Mortality means you’re allowed to screw up,” he says eventually. “You make mistakes, you die, and the world keeps going without you.”
“And if the world doesn’t let you die?”
Han Yoojin snorts. “Then you’re just unlucky.”
Unlucky. Sung Hyunjae doesn’t laugh this time.

Summary
Han Yoojin knew he was competent, that was how he managed to keep up with Seong Hyeon-je’s fuckass demands without any need for another secretary.
He was that damn good at his job. He gets shit done even before his boss opens his damned mouth asking for them. He negotiated contracts in behalf of the chairman when he gets sulky, he soothed shareholders whenever they demand unreasonable shit.
Hell, he was indispensable.
But is that really enough for the Chairman to act like this? To shower him with this level of attention unabashedly?
And if it were, how catastrophically low was his standards for his secretaries then?

Summary
Yoojin couldn’t remember when it started, but eventually, whenever his life was about to end, he would plead and pray for the same thing. He hoped that he wouldn't be reborn and if he did, he hoped the memories of his past lives wouldn’t follow him.
But for the first time in a long while, Yoojin wished for life. He wished for the shackles of his memories. He yearned for the burden of his past lives and this one. He prayed his rebirth was quicker than his death. He ached for the chance to meet Hyunje and Yoohyun again.
