It wasn’t the first time someone caught her eye, but Lixie was completely off-limits. She was a lady she had just met who was also going to get married into a very powerful family. Hyunjin was aware she was prone to falling in love way too fast, so she couldn’t afford catching feelings for this particular girl. Also there was the minor silly detail that she was a blood-sucking vampire and crushing on a human would be stupid of her. Had she mentioned already they had known each other for a few couple of hours? Definitely a bad idea.

Summary
When Hyunjin and his friends are suddenly introduced to a new boy, he finds himself feeling resentment towards him as his friends slowly start drifting away. The boy, charming and effortlessly likable, begins to fit in with the group in ways Hyunjin never expected. As his other friends grow closer to him, Hyunjin's sense of isolation grows, giving him a strange feeling of jealousy. Despite his attempts to stay distant to the little blond, he finds it that something about him is oddly intriguing, but he can't quite put a finger on what it is.
