Summary
There was once a girl named Samara who had an older brother named Domeric. She and her family lived in the fearsome castle known as the Dreadfort, a place of ghosts and terrors.
There was a boy named Robb, with four little siblings and a bastard half brother of his same age. He and his family live in Winterfell, a place of melancholy. It too had its ghosts.
Samara and Robb are engaged by chance, at a young age by Ned Stark who wished to make the North strong. Will their unity be filled with joy or be kind of terror the Dreadfort inspired in the hearts of men?

Summary
In a world where Rhaegar Targaryen is victorious in his battle against Robert Baratheon and Lyanna Stark survives her row with childbirth at the Tower of Joy, he faces new challenges with his new Queen and wife, Lyanna. Together, they face numerous challenges - either surrounding Rhaegar's fixation on prophecies, or Lyanna's deep depression in regards to Ned Stark, her brother and Warden of the North. Either way, will they survive or overcome the challenges that they themselves created?
AU: Prince Aegon, son of Elia lives, Jon Snow's name is Aemon, and Lyanna + Rhaegar survive Robert's Rebellion married ('legally'), Rhaegar ('also legally') annulled the marriage to Elia Martell but both she and Princess Rhaenys perished because Aerys II is a mad man with dragonfire.
not for Rhaegar fans (meh not for Lyanna fans either... given the first page).

Robb’s face turned sour as he scowled. “I don’t know where Jon is,” he muttered, “and he’s not my brother!”
Ned felt his face turn red. A sudden wave of hurt came over him. He rushed down into the yard, causing the men to go into a scurry and clear his path. Approaching the boy, he knelt in front of him and held his shoulders.
“What did you say, boy?” he demanded.
“I said he’s not my brother,” said the child.
