Bea paused, “You said you lost something, what?”
Kaz stood still, eyes not moving from a spot on the floor in front of him.
“Oh. Who, then?”

The word came out quick and quiet. Bea nodded slowly. So this was it. Kaz Brekker lost his wraith, it was all falling into place.

She made beautiful accessories for the wives of Merchants, and, on occasion, made indestructible and inventive weapons for a gang called ‘The Dregs’ due to an agreement with their leader. Now one of the Dregs’ highest order, a Crow, has been kidnapped and now the infamous Bastard of the Barrel needs Bea’s help. This is the story.

Summary
Charlotte Pitts knew she was a peculiar child. She would’ve fit right into Miss Peregrine’s home; in fact she may have been too peculiar for even that. Aside from the fact that when her mother began the day of which Charlotte was to be born (the exact date was 1st of October 1989), she did not in fact start the day out pregnant, Charlotte’s birth was peculiar in other ways, such as she was born with purple irises and small tufts of purple hair. Considering that purple was not a naturally occurring colour, these qualities did strike her mother as odd. Nevertheless, she vowed to love her child for as long as she would live, which unfortunately turned out to be only another 10 years.
In 1960s Dallas Texas, Five Hargreeves is not having a very good day, and that day will get worse, in his opinion, after he meets sisters Lila and Charlie, who seem to have formed an attachment with his brother Diego after a stint in an asylum.

In Wylan’s defence, he didn’t intentionally set out to borrow anything from the Crows. It was just that he picked up a couple of blankets here and there, fell asleep in his chair and woke up to a coat draped over his shoulders, tried on Jesper’s hat for a laugh and ended up keeping it… and before he knew where he was, it had become his thing. Or: Wylan has a habit of stealing clothes from his fellow Crows and no one really minds.
