Vi waited for her to finish, her attention shifting between Caitlyn’s eyes and mouth. But after stammering a few more incoherent sounds, Caitlyn couldn’t force herself to say anything — she didn’t even know what she wanted to say. She only knew that all her earlier efforts to calm her heartbeat had gone to waste, because now it pounded like a drum in her chest.
Faced with the silence and the grip on her arms keeping her dangerously close, Vi asked:
“Do you want to kiss me, Caitlyn?”

Shit. The woman’s unimpressed look morphs into a look of downright offense. “It’s Kiramman,” she says through a clenched jaw and still not moving from her position in the doorway.

“You’re stripping her with your eyes, Cait,” Sarah chuckled. She leaned in, eyes dancing with mischief. “Don’t hesitate too long, though. I’m out of the running, but this pub is full of starving patrons who’d be more than happy to steal your lunch.”
“I'm not hesitating,” Caitlyn mumbled.
She finally looked away, raising a hand to get the bartender’s attention. She wasn’t hesitating; she was planning. In her mind, the distance across the floor was already mapped out, and she had a draft of how she wanted to approach her target. It wasn't for nothing that she had won the first place on several marksmen competitions.
In the end, Caitlyn didn't just want a bite of that lunch, she wanted the damn main course.

Caitlyn gives Piltover everything she has. Vi just wants one night where she gets Caitlyn all to herself. Since Caitlyn won’t take a break on her own, Vi’s just gonna have to make her with some hands-on persuasion and a reminder of exactly how good it feels to stop thinking for a while.
Or, Vi takes Caitlyn home and spends the entire night loving Caitlyn up in bed.
