Flins’ gaze is piercing. “Why?”

Summary

Dan Heng sighs.
Stelle begins throwing popcorn in a much more targeted attack at the shadowed corner behind the doorway. As she aims, the larger man in the film is being unraveled at the seams by the doctor, the positioning and noises obscene.

He is not naïve enough to assume that there is no cruelty and discrimination here - for there always is - but for the most part, everything is peaceful.
Here, Aventurine's priorities are getting people's coffee orders right. Fairly straight forward, if you ask him.
Except for the bit where he is surrounded by too many familiar faces, and they remind him of a place he can no longer return to. That's okay. People come and go, and so will they.
Except for the bit where they come and go and come back.
