Summary
Divorced, jaded Seong Gi-hun had already been having a terrible day - fired from his job, all his money stolen from him, and with no present to give his only daughter on her tenth birthday, he really thought things could not get any worse. Satoru chuffed. “Not surprised my body hates me,” he grumbled, letting out a weak cry when his abdomen seized again.
Shoko’s hand slid away, leaving him feeling oddly cold and bereft. Satoru didn’t want to be alone, but Shoko wasn’t who he wanted either. He squeezed his eyes shut.
