“You okay, Han-ssi?” Minho asked gently, his head turning to the other, noticing how he squirmed in his seat. “If you’re uncomfortable, I can move.”
“No, it’s fine!” Jisung responded too quickly, offering him an apologetic smile, “Just… Just Han is fine, by the way. No need for any formalities, haha..."
“Han.” Minho reiterated, looking at Jisung directly now. Their eyes locked, and those eyes that seemed to twinkle and catch on every light in the room shone too brightly back at him.
“Han… Jisung, right?” Minho asked, the words rolling off his tongue so naturally, like he was pleased to be finally saying his name in a way that would ruin the way Jisung would ever hear anyone else ever calling his name again. “I remember from your first note to me.”
And again, Jisung was pulled into Minho’s gravitational pull, their small pocket of space made just for them.

‘You’re getting divorced?’ he asks, his voice so sudden and jarringly loud that everyone else stills to look at him. He hopes they can’t see the absolute glee he feels right now plastered all over his face.
‘Jisung,’ his mother scolds him, like he’s not supposed to be butting in the men’s conversation like that. She smacks him across the arm with the dish towel, but Jisung can’t look at her right now. He’s too busy staring into Minho’s eyes, looking at him staring right back.
Did he hear that wrong? His heart is beating so hard he feels like he might collapse.

Summary
It all starts with the end.
Han Jisung (a clumsy chemistry student with a painful past) crosses paths with Lee Minho (better known as Venom, the new leader of the notorious Vipers) when two kilograms of Venom's cocaine are mistakenly delivered to Jisung's doorstep, then lost by Jisung himself, under circumstances the idiot cannot remember.
Minho accuses him of theft, giving Jisung a fourteen day deadline to either find and give back the cocaine, pay an impossible debt, or take the mysterious third option which, Jisung assumes, has to mean death.
In his desperate quest for a way out, Jisung stumbles through a waking nightmare: unexpected connections between Minho and people he thought he could trust, mysterious news articles, abandoned mansions, crime scenes, black-tie parties, chaebol gossip, mafia families, escaping gunfire on the back of Minho's motorcycle.
But every single path only leads him back to the night he lost the drugs, and to unanswerable questions:
What the hell happened to the two bricks of cocaine?
Why can’t he remember losing them?
What is Minho hiding?
And what does the bastard truly want from Jisung?

Summary
Minho wondered if following the bad hunch he’d been having since morning would’ve changed anything.
Would he still be blissfully clueless? Would things between him and Jisung have remained the same? Would the group still feel intact instead of fractured down the middle?
Or would everything have exploded eventually anyway—just in a different, more catastrophic way?Or: Minho figured out that the 'relationship' he thought existed between him and Jisung was a farce. He ran away from the home he'd built together with Jisung to deal with the heartbreak.
