Kara also noticed Lena’s eyes were still gazing deeply into her own as Winn’s next verse cut through the air.

“So, what are you saying, Kara?” Kara froze again, lost in the nebulae of Lena’s eyes. Oh Rao, what am I saying?

Summary
Kara’s not sure why people assume her other senses are heightened, but not her sense of touch. She doesn’t tend to correct them, though. She doesn’t like talking about it. It feels somehow too revealing, and unavoidably intimate, to explain the overwhelming strength of her sensory response to touch. So no, she doesn’t talk about it.
But talking isn’t the only way to communicate, and one Movie Night with Lena, her body decides to spill the secret whether she wants it to or not.

“Fuck Kara, everyone knows you’re Supergirl and nothing bad has happened to us.” Alex said and looked annoyed at Kara.
“Not yet.”
“Why are you so stubborn?” Alex asked.
“If something ever happens to anyone of you guys, I don’t know what I would do…”
“Nothing will happen to us. I keep telling you that.”
“It’s different with Lena.” Kara said.
“Why?” Alex answered.
“Because she is already a target being in charge of L-Corp. Being in relationship with Supergirl would make it even worse.”
“Lena is a badass, she can take care of herself.”
“Lena is a puppy. She so innocent and fragile.”
“Are you serious?” Alex laughed. “Have you met Lena Luthor? She killed her own brother!”
“I know she was… a badass as you say, way back. But now?”

Lena finds herself stuck in Kara's wish-world, apparently the only one who remembers the real world, and definitely the only one who can find a way to get them back the real world. But the more time she spends there, the more the question becomes: does she even want to fix things?

It was just another day in the life of Supergirl. Punchin' badguys, getting yelled at by Andrea, helping Lena study some weird new alien device. But when the alien device suddenly activates, they're pulled into an alternate reality where things are much different; namely being they're married. The only problem? Only one of them remembers being married. Obscene amounts of gay panic ensues. But also surprisingly healthy communication, acceptance of feelings, and a whole lot of smut.

Kara takes a while to wake up after she passed out when they were rescued, and Lena hasn't left her side. When Kara wakes up, there's a lot she has to confront, personally and as Supergirl. Readjusting won't be easy, but with her Earth family by her side, she knows she can face whatever comes her way.

Kara cradles her pile of dirty plates. She doesn’t know how to open Lena’s brand new dishwasher without ripping the handle apart. She usually figures these things out through trial and error, but she’s never been alone in Lena’s apartment, and she can’t risk winging it in front of her.
So, she just stands by the sink and watches the hot water redden Lena’s sensitive skin, the light glinting off her beautiful earrings, and my happiness bites the plum of your mouth.The verse comes to her, unbidden, from one of their weekly poems. Lena always chooses poems with such physicality to them. Always real, touchable.
---Or: Kara is an alien, Lena is a genius. Their strangeness separates and connects them to the world and each other in peculiar ways. Being human in Lena’s eyes allows Kara to tap into parts of herself she hadn’t been able to explore before, but she knows her secret will one day stop being a bridge between them, and they’ll both lose the version of Kara Lena has grown to love. Summary
Just like Pandora’s box, Lena’s little boxes opened up then shattered like glass. She was instantly flooded with the realization that she had feelings for Kara, that she was attracted to Kara. Her carefully constructed denial hit her like a tidal wave, her heartbeat and breathing increased at an alarming rate. She was suddenly aware that she was on the brink of a full blown panic attack. She took a few staggering steps back and somehow made it to the white sofa just as her legs gave out. Her mind was racing with a million terrible thoughts. She had unleashed the worst kind of pain and torment upon herself. A Super and a Luthor? It was impossible. One way or another it would end in heartbreak, most likely Lena’s.

Summary
It isn’t The Wizard of Oz that pierces through whatever walls Kara has placed around her heart, nor is it Singing In The Rain, or even West Side Story. No, it’s Oklahoma! that blindsides her, leaves her sobbing into her throw pillow until her voice disappears and she’s too exhausted to move to her bed.
She can’t figure out why a story set in the time of farmhands and cowboys could make her think of Lena in any way until she rewatches it.
And oh. Oh, she finally gets it now.
Kara hears the words being sung and is reminded of the fact that after everything, Lena still doesn’t have the full story.
Lena had accused her of having ulterior motives, of wanting to be close to her out of selfishness, of being too cowardly to ever take a real leap of faith. She isn’t all that wrong. Kara’s alter ego may be out in the open now for Lena to see, but that doesn’t mean Kara isn’t still hiding behind some lies.
The fact that she’s fallen in love with Lena Luthor accidentally along the way is the only secret she’s got left.
AKA, Kara watches an old movie, realizes what's been in front of her this whole time, and somehow, finds her way back to where her heart has made its home.
