The multiverse is a strange thing, really. Switching places with someone whose basically you in a different font. And for Mudd and Mathilde, life proves to be a lot more difficult when one another's shoes. Whether it be in the tasks, or the relationships that follow, both have to adapt to a new life where all they've ever known is suddenly stripped from them.

Summary
For whatever reason, it’s a sense of deja-vu as he meticulously walks across the wooden floors of his and Carol’s home. The boards crack uncomfortably under his feet as they always have. It’s like he’s been here before, reliving this day.
Taking in her appearance, studying it, he realizes why it’s familiar. Why he remembers the braid being specially draped on her left side, why he remembers she’s wearing a pair of high-waisted, black pants with a dagger hoist strapped to her right thigh.
He had written the description down in the missing persons section of the newspaper. He’d repeat the description to every and any person that was on his run. Or on the walk to the city. Or-

Garroth buried his head in his hands and stifled a cry. The animalistic echo of a dog’s whimper echoed across the sterile bathroom walls, an action that surprised even him. Sharp, inhuman nails scraped against the bathroom tile—throwing Garroth into another wave of fear. He scrambled frantically across the floor, until his back slammed into a corner.
With his knees pulled up to his chest, all the blonde could do to ease himself was rock back and forth—hoping his mind would dance with thoughts of going home or seeing his brothers.
Or; my self-indulgent fic exploring Garroth’s physical and emotional struggles from being turned into a werewolf (because I know I’d be freaking out too)
