Louis licked his lips. "I think I was hunting frogs." His accent slipped into groove on hunting, no G, all Louis. It did not relieve her. "Then—" he stopped. Looked up at the ceiling. Claudia pulled a loosed thread from the hem of her skirt, wondering if he'd ever talk again. "You ever felt like you slipped outta your skin?"

Summary
