He tucks this bit of information away, saving it next to his overly detailed fantasy of hoisting her up against the row of mailboxes in their small, dimly-lit lobby. His name a breathy moan on her lips.

Summary
If Jughead has an archnemesis, it is the blinking cursor on a blank word document. Maybe nemesis is the wrong word. It is more a teasing mistress than a foe, an open door vanishing and reappearing in a come-hither fashion, appealing for a word, just two, existing only as long as he continues typing, and it wishes to exist. Yet, each time the cursor disappears so does his inspiration. Its reappearance produces nary a nudge of impetus, and so he remains suspended there, inert, the cool blue light of the LCD screen burning into his retinas.
