Cheryl Blossom’s life was in ruins after the Blossom men were no more, leaving her family and their empire in shambles. After her families true stock and trade was discovered, it was no wonder people were left with questions. And those people wanted answers.
Some of those people happened to be the Southside Serpents, wanting to know why the presence of hard drugs were still making their way through the town after the demise of drug kingpin Clifford Blossom. They form a new plan on how to extract information on the whereabouts of the infamous ‘Sugar Man’.

After his dad is cleared of the Blossom murder and released from prison, Jughead moves back to Sunnyside trailer park to live with him. FP has promised to clean up his act ‘for real this time’ in order to bring the family back together... And his son truly wants to believe in him.
At first, things are pretty great; FP stops drinking, leaves the Serpents and gets a job at Pop’s. There’s even food on the table and a small budget put aside for things like heating their thinly insulated walls and maybe a small family vacation somewhere nearby, some day.
But what happens when FP faces an unforeseen challenge and falls even further than previous times, dragging his son along in his descent to hell?

They talk about everything. He tells her things that he hasn’t spoken a single word about in years. He thought that things might be awkward but it’s not there. It feels like he’s talking to his old friend — which, he guesses, is all she is now.
Just a friend. Purely platonic.
To his alcohol-induced mind, that word is the most reprehensible one in the entirety of the English language. It bothers him more than he’d like to admit. Because he can’t still love her, can he? He hasn’t let himself think about that possibility for so long now that it feels weird, digging up these memories and feelings he so desperately forced himself to repress.
They have too much history to be just friends. For Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones, they can never be just friends.

Sitting on the bench a few feet away from his is a young woman dressed in a gold blouse and long, grey slacks. She’s wringing her hands together in what appears to be a nervous or frustrated fashion as she breathes in deeply before exhaling loudly.
“Calm down. Do not cry. Do not cry. Do not cry,” she repeats to herself out loud.
“Hey, are you okay?” he asks cautiously, feeling as if he’s intruding upon a private moment.
When she whips around, everything around him slows down. The noise and traffic coming from the busy city streets below no longer sounds in his ears. His voracious hunger is forgotten. All of his senses shift into overdrive as he takes in her lustrous golden hair, her vivid green eyes, and the delicate pink of her cheeks and lips.
She’s ethereal.
