There are things Sae never says out loud. Like how some nights, he still feels hands that weren’t his. How warmth once meant vulnerability — and vulnerability meant losing something he didn’t know could be taken. He was too young to understand it then — what it meant, what it did, what it stole. But now, he feels it everywhere. In the way he avoids mirrors. In the way he stiffens when someone walks too close. In the way his skin never quite feels like it belongs to him. He remembers what it’s like to be powerless. To be used. To flinch, and pretend he didn’t. Kindness doesn’t come easy anymore. But he’s learning. Slowly. Painfully. Shidou doesn’t ask questions. He just stays — loud, steady, present — again and again, until Sae stops bracing for the worst. And maybe, in the spaces between silence and touch, Sae learns what it feels like to be safe. Maybe, even, what it means to be loved.
Or, the author sucks at writing fanfiction and just really wants to write Ryusae fluff

Summary
In stars and planets above the world or what humanity knew and what life could be, lived aliens and humans. It was a war and destruction between mankind and aliens, each fought with power and will, but only one civilization stood, the aliens. Earth was destroyed, mankind forced themselves to live on another planet and soon, humans became nothing but toys, pets to be experimented on, and seeing what type of amusement or pleasure the aliens could get with it, and with that, Alien Stage was born. Humans would be taught at a young age to sing, be experimented on, abused, and soon, when the time came, they would be pinned against each other and sing until one died and the other was left standing. Love was lacking between both guardians and their pets; emotional understanding didn't exist between them. Empathy and sympathy towards humans wasn't even in the picture for them. Even with no idea how to love, how to give affection, or even what is right and wrong with love, they still tried to give it to the ones they hold dear most in this hell, doing anything for them. Some, though, may take that love and hold it high in the air and worship it like a god on a pedestal, because what can humans do other than believe in god?
