When they had found Hood behind that sewer grate, Girl missed it, but he noticed the way Hood’s shoulders tensed upon seeing his sister there. Thousands of frantic thoughts must have been flashing through her mind, just like they had for him when he had first seen her. He couldn’t blame her.
Girl shouldn’t be alive right now.
She wasn’t supposed to.
“She’s probably scared,” he finally says. “After everything… She’s just panicking.”
Girl hums. “Yeah. Probably.” She pauses. “Do you…know what happened?”
He does. But he wishes he didn’t.
“Which part?” he asks.
Sitting in a bathroom, the siblings finally take a moment to talk.
Boy buries the truth.
And Girl buries a rat.

“No way…” Boy says.
“Is that…real?” Bandage whispers.
“I think so…” Girl murmurs.
“SWEETS!!!” Bucket cries.
Sitting within the crate are several packaged sweet foods—chocolate bars, plum pudding, oatmeal cookies, trench cake, gingerbread, ginger snaps, pear snaps, peppermints, pudding cups, jars of jam, and more.
The kids find a stash of desserts one night. It is a joyous time!
For everyone except Hood.

(Heavily inspired by Fervidlizard32’s The Seven Year Nightmare. One of best fics I’ve ever read, that I just couldn’t get the thoughts out of my head about the seven years that Six spent on her own - with Sokage, of course - and so I decided to write it.)

A one-shot story sequel to The Cast's Keepsake with inspiration from the slasher horror film, I Know What You Did Last Summer. Mono wakes up to discover his secret cigar box broken into and a threatening message left on the arm cast of Hush, a girl he previously used as bait to survive his past. Terrified his found family will learn of his guilt, Mono breaks their cardinal rule and sneaks out alone to confront his stalker. He is ambushed by The Jailer, a towering female Resident wrapped in chains who attacks him with a meat-hook and psychologically tortures him with Hush's cries. Just as the woman is about to kill him, Grey, Six, and Dusk arrive to fight her off. After saving his life, the family returns to the manor where they lovingly help Mono burn the cast in the fireplace, putting his guilt to rest forever.
