„you’re drunk again.” was the only thing he could squeeze out of himself. his voice quiet and cold between them. leone frowned trying to process his words.
„the fuck? i’m not.” he sounded pissed. almost taken aback. after a few long seconds he remembered and turned his head to the coffee table. a heavy sigh escaped his lips while placed one hand on the counter and leaned all of his body weight on it, other hand pinching his bridge.
”listen, it’s not how you think.” that was bruno’s last straw and he felt all of shock and hurt turning into anger. he hadn’t want to listen to no excuses. it was always like that. leone would never admit that he relapsed because of a moment of weakness, there always were excuses. bad day, exhausting mission, a party, literally whatever. everything was a good enough reason to look at the bottom of a bottle. what hurt bruno the most was the fact, that his partner was already doing so good for so long. and also the ultimatum bruno gave him last time.that next time leone drinks, it’s over.
