粉红色的夕阳为万物披上柔和的光芒。史蒂夫止不住去想夕阳下的比利有多迷人。另一个男孩躺在车顶，似乎已经睡着了，他轻柔地呼吸，呼吸太阳温热的余晖。
“你在看什么，哈林顿？”过了几分钟比利突然张嘴，声音低沉而沙哑，双眼睁开一条缝。
史蒂夫想过让这句话随风而散——比利说话的声音如此低，史蒂夫完全可以假装没听见。但接着他想起两人说过的所有俏皮话。比利追逐他而没让自己做那个主动者。回想过去几个月他们经历的一切，史蒂夫知道他们的关系已经不能用亲密形容。比利用自己的方式从容应对政府的种种阴谋。史蒂夫更没忘记，是比利正和他在一起，共进退。他本该早早意识到这场情感风暴的到来，史蒂夫想。
所以，他轻声回答：“只有你，哈格罗夫。”

Mike Schmidt is just trying to get by and it seems like everyone is out to make that impossible. Fired from his job, late on his rent, and late on his lone repayment, it feels like the walls are closing in. Salvation seems to come in the form of a cake walk night guard job at the local pizzeria. What could be easier than watching a bunch of animatronics? Mike is of course doomed to find out, but thankfully there's someone watching out for him. Someone eight feet tall with a certain... idea, of courtship.
(ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ As of December 3rd (2025) this work is slowly undergoing construction! It's a fun story and I've been wanting to 'clean it up' for a while now. I won't be uploading an entirely separate fic for this, as the story itself isn't really changing. Chapters will slowly be 'polished', and I will update the count here when they do. It wasn’t that Hal had meant to fall in love with Batman. Really, he hadn’t. He’d always thought it would be Superman he’d end up H-over-T for, just on account of, you know, the whole super-strength-and-no-refractory-period thing. Plus, Hal knew from a few particularly awkward run-ins with Poison Ivy over the years that the guy was hung like a horse – an impossibly muscular, Herculean, alien horse. Or maybe he would have ended up pining for Barry; sweet, boring, straight-as-can-be Barry, who was kinder to him than anyone had a goddamn right to be. He could have even seen himself getting hot for Ollie, if the guy wasn’t the type of insufferable prick that forced a bunch of ex-soldiers and current superheroes with boatloads of complex childhood trauma to attend a function that was more PTSD-nightmare than party.
