Regulus Black, Sirius Black, Dorcas Meadowes, Barty Crouch Jr, and Evan Rosier have all been chosen to leave the Isle and go to Hogwarts in hope that the two lands will be again reunited. However, that's not how this story is gonna go, not if Regulus Black has anything to do with it.
James Potter is soon to be head boy of Hogwarts and has convinced the headmistress to enrol five students from the Isle in order to bridge the gap between the two lands. However, as soon as he lays his eyes on Regulus Black, things seem like they might be lot more complicated than he anticipated.

This is an alternative universe for the Marauders that is constantly on my mind. The characters are millenial born in the 90s and teenagers in the 2010's expecially in 2014. Based on the song New Romantics by Taylor Swift and that vibe.
Everything is practically the same as in canon except they are muggles. And Hogwarts is a prestigious boarding school.
Remus & Sirius are childhoood friends who meet at ten because the Lupins used to work for the Blacks. But for circumstances they break apart. But Remus gets a scholarship to Hogwarts in sixth year. Sirius pauses. Memories of how his fingers tracing the tanned skin felt, how his lips gently laid on his like someone would suddenly rip them apart any second, how the words were said in such a quiet tone they could not be accused of being muttered at all.
"But I don't know how love can be a sin."
Mother is so sick of Sirius and his nonsense, as a last resort, she obliges him to convert. He meets this one guy and then he gets even more fucked up.
Or, the pastor's son commits sin when he meets a troubled lad, Remus's beliefs he so dearly held, seem threatened.
