Summary
Bangtan were the Crown's set of six elite Sentinels.
Second only to the Crown, they were the heads of Planet Terra's military, wielding a military with hundreds of thousands of spaceships as they wished.
They were called "Generals" but they were so much more than that- they were astrophysicists, engineers, politicians, doctors, scientists, spies, diplomats. Formed by the bleeding edge of genetic modification, Bangtan were practically unstoppable.
While they were almost super-human, their Guides were most definitively not. Bangtan burned through Guides like cigarettes. No one ever lasted longer than a year, before becoming sickly ill and passing away soon after.
Cadet Jeon Jungkook is the exception.

“And this plan,” Seokjin starts cautiously, “Does it work?”
Jungkook stares at him, dead in the eye, and Seokjin can see his string of failed relationships flash in front of his eyes in quick succession. He gulps.
“How does it start?”
