Summary
“We’re missing something,” Clark said, stepping back to take in the tree. The lights twinkled, ornaments shimmered, but something still felt incomplete. Even Bruce tilted his head, unable to place it.
“The star!” Dick shouted suddenly, rummaging through the box with both hands until he pulled it out triumphantly.
Clark scooped him up with ease, his arms steady and strong, and floated just high enough so Dick could reach the very top of the tree. The boy stretched out carefully, tongue poking from the corner of his mouth in concentration, and placed the star right at the tip.
The moment it settled, the whole tree seemed to glow brighter, the lights catching on the star and scattering golden reflections across the room. Dick’s face lit up with pride, his chest puffed out as if he’d just saved Christmas, Clark looked up at him with a huge, goofy grin, his heart swelling at the sight. Jason had been chewing on a bauble, but he froze mid‑bite, his wide eyes fixed on the star now shining at the top. His mouth fell open in awe.Bookmarked by spongy_fellow

His instinct is to back track immediately.

Summary
A Tuesday night at Clark’s apartment was supposed to be a normal, human affair—complete with a strict ban on superpowers in the kitchen and Clark stubbornly trying to prove he can cook. As it turns out, Gotham's dark vigilante and Martha Kent have been secret text-buddies for six months, trading gardening tips, recipes, and embarrassing stories about Clark. Over a bowl of "cheated" homemade ice cream, Clark is left drowning in pure, overwhelming affection for his brilliant, guarded boyfriend—who, despite all his brooding, simply cannot say no to Mrs. Kent.
