Summary
“It’s not even that bad,” Taki says, not as if he’s trying to convince the rest of them, but as if he actually believes four people to a hotel room is acceptable at this point in their careers. “Just like our __ dorm.”
“The difference is we chose to all sleep in one room at that dorm,” Yudai replies. “We weren’t forced to.”

Summary
“Did I wake you up again?” Yudai asks, the question hollow and more like a pleasantry rather than an actual inquiry. “I hope you weren’t having a good dream. I’d feel bad, then.”
“I wasn’t asleep.” Jo lies straight through his teeth, like he always does.
Yudai carefully pulls the covers back, kneeling onto the bed as he slowly crawls in beside Jo. “What’s my baby doing up so late then, huh?”
Waiting for you, is what Jo wants to say. I’m always waiting for you.
Jo spends most of his time waiting for something to happen.

Summary
Keeho brings one hand to rest between his legs, sitting atop the towel. He flicks the edge of it, not hard enough to unravel the knot around his hips.
He says, low and sure, “you want it, Jiung?”
Menthol scented steam stings Jiung’s eyes and he blinks three times rapid-fire. He breathes in, almost chokes on it, and shakes his head.
With a hum, Keeho presses his palm down.

Summary
Stillness is fleeting and quickly morphs itself into painful boredom. Any silence is soon broken as Jiung musters up words to fill the space while they wait. “I think you’d look good with some actual piercings.” He notes.
Keeho’s body stays planted exactly where it sits, only his head lolling to the side to look at Jiung when he speaks. “You do?” For a brief moment, he’s taken aback by the sudden statement. It’s not like this is the first time he’s ever had faux rings or tiny metal spheres glued onto his face, but it’s also not the first time they’ve lead to a mindless conversation about something more real.
Or, Jiung convinces Keeho to let him pierce him and Keeho discovers he really likes it.

Summary
A toy helps Jiung focus. It keeps him grounded and in the moment as he works. It adds pressure, a sensation for him to focus on when his mind starts to wander. When he gets too antsy, shifts in his chair, it’s there to remind him where he’s at and what he’s doing. Cold and lifeless, it’s merely a tool to aid him.
But Keeho? He’s so warm. He’s so taunting just from the mere fact of existence. Blood rushes through him and jolts with life inside Jiung. It reminds him where he’s at but reminds him more importantly of who sits there beneath him too.
Or, Keeho helps Jiung keep his focus while he works.
